MARKHAM MUN

I am Arantza De La Torre and I am in 5B.  I’ve been in MUN since the end of 2018, when I was 13 until now. I have attended several conferences in the country and even a few abroad. Throughout these conferences, I have been given the opportunity to explore topics of interest, meet new people from different backgrounds and develop personal skills. For me, MUN represents the power and confidence all students should acquire. I strongly believe that exposure to world-relevant issues is crucial for students to develop their academic curiosity, communication and problem-solving abilities.

My name is Xavier Martinez and I am currently in S4. I initially joined MUN back in 2020 at just 13 years old and it's been an amazing journey ever since. Throughout conferences, I've been able to dig into incredibly interesting and currently relevant topics, develop my skills as a leader, and most importantly, create many new friendships. MUN is unlike other activities. It opens your eyes to the real world and teaches one how to become an agent of change. No matter what you aspire to become in the future, the skills and experience from having an MUN background will surely help you achieve your goals in the future.
